Five Police Officers are suspected to be involved in the murder of a woman
who was stuffed in a drum before being thrown in Pasig River.
The Police suspect then stole her money thru ATM withdrawal afterwards.

Five suspected Police Officers are allegedly involved
in the abduction, kidnapping and murder of a woman.
The Police Officer involved turned out to be a neighbor of the Victim.

The body of the lady was thrown in Pasig River and was discovered floating around.
The body of the victim was naked while both arms and legs were tied and
her face was fully wrapped with adhesive duct tape.
Autopsy revealed the victim died from stangulation from a nylon cord used by the suspects.
A son of the victim said that one of the suspect pretended to be an interested buyer of their property.
The NBI found out that multiple withdrawals were made using the victims ATM.

PO1 Marc Jay Ferrer De Los Santos was apprehended by the NBI
while making a withdrawal in an ATM while wearing a spiderman bonnet to cover his face.
The other suspects was then captured one after another.
The victim was killed because she recognized the suspect to be her former police neighbor.
The woman was identified as Adora Lazatin.

NCRPO chief Director Joel Pagdilao (National Capital Region Police Office)
identified the suspect as Inspector Eljie Jacobe,
Police Officers 1 Mark Jay de los Santos and
Police Officers 1 Edmon Gonzales.
Ironically the three suspect are
all assigned at the regional public safety battalion.
Former Bureau of Corrections officer Domingo Balanquit and Empire Salas were also captured.

A Manila Police District official allegedly told The Philippine Star that Jacobe
was his former batchmate and that the suspect and another policeman were allegedly involved in illegal drugs.
The question is, if he had known that they are invovled with illegal activities
why didn't he report it prior to the Lazatin Murder Case?
The NBI are investigating into the possibility Jacobe and his group have other victims
and that there might be other groups operating with a similar modus operandi.

Real Estate agents, brokers and property owners are warned to be careful with fake property buyers.
